Booking an Event

To contact us to plan an event, please fill out this form. First, please read the important information below.

It is the policy of the Blue Chalk Cafe that all food and beverages consumed at the Blue Chalk Cafe be purchased there. In addition, California state law prohibits the removal of alcoholic beverages from the premises.

EVENT POLICIES

Final Guarantee

We ask that the final menu and minimum billing number of people must be confirmed at least FIVE working days prior to the event. Non-compliance may result in limited quantities of requested items. You will be charged for the final count or the minimum billing number whichever is greater. If the number of people in your party exceeds 30% of your minimum billing number, a penalty fee of $2.50 will be added per person over the exceeded limit. The Blue Chalk reserves the right to substitute alternate space if the attendance deviates substantially from the original number

Payment

Payment for all services is due in full at the conclusion of your event. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diner's Club, cash and company checks. All hosted items will be tabulated and presented for your verification, signature and payment.

Cancellation

If a confirmed reservation is cancelled within SEVENTY-TWO HOURS of the event, the Guest will be responsible for the minimum billing number of guests multiplied by the menu price.

Directions

From San Jose:Take Highway 101 North to the University Avenue exit. Proceed West on University into downtown Palo Alto. Take a left on Ramona Street. We are located a block and a half down on the right hand side, at 630 Ramona Street, between Hamilton Avenue and Forest Avenue, directly across the street from City Hall.

From San Francisco:Take Highway 101 South to the University Avenue exit. Proceed West on University into downtown Palo Alto. Take a left on Ramona St. We are located a block and a half down on the right hand side, at 630 Ramona Street, between Hamilton Avenue and Forest Avenue, directly across the street from City Hall.

Parking

There is a public lot under City Hall, (directly across the street), as well as street parking.
